The ExAlts were born at the end of Altered’s Kickstarter (February 2024) from a desire by Aran and LaoShiMahan to create a project around the game. Quickly joined by about ten regular members from the official Discord, the team has steadily grown and now (August 19th) has around forty members.
To bring together a community around the ExAlts and add some fun while waiting for the game’s release, we set up a monthly league: the ExAlts League. It runs during the first three weeks of the month and concludes during the fourth one with a tournament to crown a champion form the top 8 players of the regular league. The league is open to everyone, with no entry limit, and can be joined at any time during the season. We completed Season 4 in June 2024 and crowned a champion each season.
In July 2024, we organized the very first Altered tournament with the entire core set: the ExAlts Championship, bringing together the top 2 players from the league seasons of March, April, May, and June 2024.
The ExAlts also aims to broadcast competitive matches from our tournaments on Twitch, with both hands visible, accompanied by an internal casting team and external guests. You can also find commented matches on our YouTube channels.
The team has significant competitive ambitions, and we hope our players will regularly place among the top contenders in upcoming major Altered competitions.
Finally the ExAlts are also committed to supporting the community and sharing our knowledge through articles, podcasts, and content on our various media platforms.
